Our Story

As a Chiropractic Physician, I have observed a direct correlation between overweight, obesity, and an increase in patient visits for neurological, muscular, and skeletal conditions. ScaledFitness was established in response to the need to assist chiropractic patients who were frequently seeking treatment for chronic aches and pains. Our goal is to help them alleviate pain and truly embark on a journey to better health.

Many overweight and obese individuals also suffer from a range of health conditions collectively referred to as metabolic syndrome. This syndrome consists of a series of preventable diseases that can lead to diabetes, heart disease, stroke, or even death. Carrying excess weight can contribute to discomfort in areas such as the neck, back, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.

Through numerous conversations with my patients, a common theme emerged: most people lack a clear understanding of how to genuinely enhance their health without relying on drugs, surgery, or following the latest fad diet. Additionally, I discovered that many individuals feel frustrated with their current health status and some have even resigned themselves to being overweight, obese, and/or unwell for the rest of their lives.

Out of this pressing need, ScaledFitness was conceived. Serving as the inaugural "Health Improvement Clinic," ScaledFitness is dedicated to delivering authentic healthcare, prioritizing wellness over merely treating sickness. Over the last five years, the demand for ScaledFitness has extended far beyond the Las Vegas area. To cater to a growing global audience, we created DrWFit.com—an avenue to reach and educate people around the world.

Frequently, Dr. Andrea is approached with inquiries about food, nutrition, natural health, and personal development. With over 25 years of dedicated research and learning, she has deepened her understanding of the human body in relation to food, nutrition, food science, health science, disease prevention, natural health treatments, and lifestyles that foster wellness. Dr. Andrea brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience gained from her involvement in various industries, including Food Manufacturing, Nutraceuticals Manufacturing, Organization Development, Corporate Training, Management Consulting, Petroleum Wax Manufacturing, Government Contracting, and Academia, where she served as a College Professor.

During her tenure in the food manufacturing sector, Dr. Andrea conducted research, devised food products, and facilitated sensory testing. In the realm of Organization Development, Corporate Training, and Management Consulting, she played a pivotal role in overseeing Strategic Sales and Marketing.

In the petroleum wax industry, Dr. Andrea functioned as a Quality Assurance Manager and provided support to Marketing, Sales, and Technical Services. Her academic journey saw her imparting knowledge as a college professor, teaching nutrition courses.

In her current capacity as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Andrea is committed to assisting others in enhancing their health naturally, empowering them to take an active role in their personal well-being. Beyond her professional endeavors, she dedicates her spare time to instructing various classes on health, nutrition, exercise, and personal development.

On a daily basis, I receive questions about fitness, exercise, workout programs, and diets. With over 48 years of experience working out in gyms all around the world, I have acquired extensive knowledge about exercise, proper techniques, and effective strategies for muscle development and fat reduction. My personal repertoire includes calisthenics, plyometrics, running, weightlifting, and cross-training, all of which I have not only employed myself but also introduced to my personal training clients.

My journey encompasses service in the United States Military and a subsequent retirement from a career in Law Enforcement. Both my military service and law enforcement career demanded that I incorporate health and fitness into my daily routine.

Fortunately, this wasn't a challenge, as my passion for health and fitness has always burned brightly. Following my retirement, I embarked on a new path in healthcare as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Together with my wife, I committed to dedicating our lives to assisting others in areas such as health, fitness, wellness, nutrition, and chiropractic care. I am driven to synergize the knowledge I've amassed over a lifetime of fitness and personal training with my current doctoral training in chiropractic healthcare, all in pursuit of helping others attain their fitness aspirations.
